The voters gave me their support and elected me as their Board Trustee in 2016. My Board colleagues entrusted me to serve as Chair of the Board.
As Board Chair, I have led as Dallas College has increased its enrollment in critical fields and developed new high-demand programs which lead to jobs. During this time Dallas College has become more student-centric due to the development of initiatives such as the Dallas County Promise, the expansion of Early College High Schools, and new industry partnerships.
And, most notably, I led through the College’s transition to a stronger, united college: Dallas College.
